Social Services

The Hispanic Committee of Virginia’s social workers provide comprehensive and individualized case management services to families and individuals so they may be assured an acceptable standard of living as they move towards self-sufficiency. 

Services include:

  • References to medical and dental services;
  • Assistance in cases of emergency: food, clothes, rent and others;
  • Orientation and help in cases of family domestic violence;
  • Support in cases of crisis;
  • Help completing forms such as: birth certificates, Medicaid/Medicare, Social Security,
    school documents, change/correction of names and others;
  • Financial advice with hospital bills; and
  • Orientation and references to legal services.

Social Services are FREE of charge.
