The Hispanic Committee of Virginia is now accepting nominations for the 2010 Hermes Award. The award is recognizes an accomplished business and community leader. It will be presented at the Hispanic Committee of Virginia’s 43rd Anniversary Celebration of Culture and Achievement on Friday, April 9, 2010 at the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association Conference Center (NRECAC) in Arlington, Virginia.
Criteria
Named after the Greek god Hermes, the award is presented to a business wo/man who enables communication and cross-cultural understanding and whose entrepreneurial spirit exemplifies stability, innovation, perseverance, and a commitment to diversity and community. All individuals, regardless of his/her ethnic racial background is eligible to be nominated based on the following criteria outlined below: |
