Financial Education and Housing Program
The Hispanic Committee of Virginia’s Financial Education and Housing Program is designed to assist people in making financial decisions for their economic progress.
One-on-one counseling sessions are tailored to problem-solve individual financial needs. Counseling sessions are offered Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Basic and advanced Financial Education and Housing Seminars are held monthly in the Hispanic Committee of Virginia’s main office and teach a three step model of economic progress:
- Creating Wealth (managing income and expenses
with the aim of accumulating savings and establishing
and maintaining credit);
- Growing Wealth (basics of investing in a house, small
business, and retirement plans); and
- Protecting Wealth (protecting financial assets).
To schedule an appointment or sign up for a seminar, call 703.671.5666 or visit the office.
